Cabinetmaker
15 years of experience cabinetmaking
My first projects in woodworking were in my home. The first of these projects was a custom built-in wall unit for the living room to store a TV, books and stereo equipment. The next project was a full height storage cabinet with adjacent shelves for the pantry. Then my father approached me and asked if I could do work on his house that he was completely remodeling. The project included built-in cabinets in the pantry, kitchen and living room, as well as carpentry around a spiral stair case. After years of work on the side in cabinetry I acquired full time employment in a high end custom cabinet shop in New Jersey. After relocating to Cape Cod in 2003 I was fortunate to be employed with Chestnut Bay Cabinet Design, where I plan to stay until I retire.

Antonio DaCruz

Antonio DaCruzForeman and Paint Specialist
Hi, I’m Tony. I have experience with many different types of paint; water-borne, oil-base, lacquer, solvent, etc. I’ve been with the company for more than five years. Before that, I worked with several different paint companies. I first started working with paints when I was 14 years old in my native country, Cape Verde Islands. I worked for my uncle until I was 21, when I came to the United States. In the United States I took a few classes on different finishes like antique, distress, glaze and many others. My goal is to keep progressing towards higher quality on my finishes.
