Lazy Susan - photographs

Can't get to the back of that cabinet in the bottom corner of your kitchen? Forever searching for that pan cover lost in the back?

One of our most common and functional accessories is the Lazy Susan. A Lazy susan is installed into a 36" corner base cabinet. The unit has 2 pie shaped platters that spin in the bottom of the cabinet and middle fixed shelf of the cabinet. They have champagne colored railings and washable melamine bottoms, available in maple and white.

The doors are connected and pulling the handle will open both doors to allow full access into the cabinet.

I have attached a few pictures of this great addition. Please feel free to contact us for more pictures or to include this piece in your next custom kitchen.

Updated photo gallery

Greetings! A few of our recent clients extended the invitation into their home to photograph their recent projects. Local photographer, Christy Lynch, from Falmouth MA, headed out to shoot these great homes. You will find updates to these in the photo gallery page. While we aren't able to load every incredible picture taken that day, we had added few.

As a cabinetmaker, it is incredibly rewarding to visit a project after the homeowner has "moved back into the space". It is satisfying to see the project tied back in with counters installed and personal effects in place. "To see the space perform as we envision it is the greatest reward."

We thank our clients for opening their homes and looking forward to working with you all again in the future.

Meeting Delivery - a Chestnut Bay guarantee

I am not a very patient person so it's easy to say that I really hate waiting. Waiting for a delivery, waiting for a call back, waiting for something, someone, anyone!

At Chestnut Bay, we promise we won't keep you waiting for your cabinets. It's our guarantee. When you decide to work with Chestnut Bay Cabinets we work with you to meet the delivery date that you or your contractor need. When all final approvals are made, selections, colors and field dimensions your project enters the production phase. At that point, your delivery date is set. IN STONE!

We have worked hard to streamline operations to ensure that every delivery is met with the same careful planning and coordination every time. Need a quick turn around? Because we are organized we can clearly identify open time in the production schedule to see where we can fit you in early.

We will communicate throughout the production process, contact you the week of your delivery and make a delivery appointment that is convenient for you. (And no, we won't ask you to be home for a 6 hour window). We respect that you are busy and we appreciate you for sharing your home with our cabinets.

So, this one's packed and ready for a 9:00am delivery tomorrow. Delivery day is my favorite! When will your delivery day be?

The finishing touch - Granite Counters

I had the chance to go to the granite warehouse for Sudbury Granite and Marble with a client this past weekend.

From their website: "SG&M is your single point of contact; we import, fabricate, and install – Granite, Marble, Limestone, Travertine, Soapstone, and engineered stones, making it affordable for all who desire them."

First, I could not believe the selection. I never knew how many colors there are for granite. From gorgeous greens to incredible blacks. Finishes from gloss to leather. We took a long look around the immaculate warehouse. Once she selected the stone, the pile was seperated to identify the slab, we laid out the counter and it was tagged to be held for manufacturing.

We received a tour around the facility and saw their incredible operation. An excellent day.

What was interesting, was this client was going to pick white for the caibnets. Once she decided on the stone, she decided to change the color to a neutral that would better match the stone. As her project has not gone into production yet, this was the perfect time to make a change. A good tip to remember when looking for counters, bring a sample of your door with you.

We would be please to quote your counter for your next project.
