New Products

The computer age has offered many new options and advantages for fabrication techniques. In particular, there are several new, high tech machines available for the cabinetry business. The CNC, or Computerized Numerical Control machine, is one of those. This machine has a controller that reads G&M code commands to drive a machine tool, a powered mechanical device typically used to fabricate components by the selective removal of material. G codes position the tool and do the actual work, M codes manage the machine. What does this mean? One machine does all the time consuming, dadoing, rabitting, drilling, and cutting of a sheet stock that a worker would take hours, possibly days to complete. The CNC does this in minutes per sheet. The company’s technician programs the CNC to be accurate to one thousandth of an inch. The speed and accuracy of the CNC machine saves us time and money which converts to a more affordable product for the consumer.
